The Sprinter Cab Chassis leaves Mercedes-Benz as a cab, driveline and frame with nothing behind the B-pillar. It is the starting point for motorhome, tray and service body work where the coachwork is engineered onto the chassis rather than fitted inside an existing shell.
We order the 519 LWB on a 4,325 mm wheelbase, running the OM654 2.0-litre four-cylinder and the 9G-TRONIC automatic. Rear-wheel drive is certified at 4,490 kg or 5,000 kg GVM; the A4M all-wheel-drive variant certifies to 5,500 kg and carries a 3,207 kg payload. Braked towing is 3,500 kg on most variants.
Every chassis we order carries the N26Z Motorhome Pack from the factory — upgraded front axle load, Stabilisation Level III, the parameterisable special module (PSM), exhaust routed to the chassis rear and the comfort seat pack with swivel function — so body builders mount to a known, certified platform. All RV Sales Australia Mercedes-Benz cab chassis vehicles carry the N26Z Motorhome Pack — upgraded front axle load (A50), Stabilisation Level III for motorhomes (CB4), parameterisable special module (PSM, ED5), wide mirrors (FS2), hinged dashboard lids left and right (FJ5), exhaust to chassis rear (K60), chrome grille (FK3), comfort seat pack with swivel function, raised rear suspension (CE8), cut-off relay for the auxiliary battery (E36), exit lights (LB9), driver and co-driver door armrests (S28) and ARTICO man-made leather seats in black (VF6) — plus R98 steel wheels in special paint finish, non-metallic paint and the KL1 fuel gauge sensor with auxiliary heater connection.
