The platform
A factory van, finished as a motorhome
The Sprinter panel van is the base vehicle for our campervan and motorhome conversions. It arrives from Mercedes-Benz as a complete, road-registered platform — cab, driveline, safety systems and warranty intact — and every conversion is built into that shell rather than onto a modified chassis.
Two series are offered. The 419 carries a 4,100 kg GVM; the 519 steps up to 5,000 kg (5,500 kg on the AWD MWB), with a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity on most variants. Both run the OM654 2.0-litre four-cylinder with the 9G-TRONIC automatic, in medium or long wheelbase, rear-wheel or all-wheel drive.
Standard equipment covers the driver-assistance suite — Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, 360-degree parking package — with MBUX multimedia, semi-automatic climate control and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Factory paint colours and Mercedes-Benz options are chosen at order; both are listed further down this page.

All RV Sales Australia Sprinter builds carry the N23Z Campervan Package — upgraded front axle load and stabilisation, comfort seat pack with swivel function, parameterisable special module (PSM), ARTICO man-made leather seats, hinged dashboard lids, sliding-door entrance handle and full rear-door panelling — plus KL1 fuel gauge sensor with auxiliary heater connection, F84 digital inside rearview mirror and the N33Z electric seat pack.
